5 Months

I can absolutely not believe that it has been 5 months since Kensy made her appearance.  So here is the photo lineup :)

I love looking at how much she has grown.  She's turning into a little girl right before our eyes.  This month she has definitely developed some personality.  She gets very frustrated when she cannot achieve what she has set out to do.  I think we are going to have a spitfire on our hands.  At her 4 month appointment she was 24 inches long and weighed 12lbs.  She's in the 15-25th % for weight and in the 25-50th for length. We laughed because the doctor said she was performing "advanced" skills by reaching laterally to grab toys, etc. This is totally a 6 month skill.  SO ADVANCED.  Kensy really wants to crawl and sit up, but she's too stinkin' wiggly to balance.  We have started to give her some rice cereal in her bottles these days.  She went through a growth spurt for about a week and was eating 30+ ounces a day, which about killed mama (pumping in the middle of the night on top of getting up with fussikins).  We also started swaddling her with her arms out, which has about caused Ron and I to have a coronary because she enjoys sleeping with her face completely buried into the mattress (see photo evidence below).  Anyway, pictures are worth a thousand words, so check out some of the photos from this month below.
